09/09/15  Mayor Happy Fordyce Regains Totty Trophy

The Gerald Totty Trophy is back in Fordyce, and at last night's city council  meeting, Mayor John McNichol expressed his congratulations to the Red Bugs for winning the game, and having the pleasure of seeing Rison Mayor Vernon Dollar crossing the football field to bring him the traveling trophy.  McNichol said the challenge between him and Dollar began quite a few years back and first was a T-Shirt that the loser had to wear of the opposing team. Dollar asked that not continue due to flak he received from Wildcat fans, so the idea of the Gerald Totty trophy started. Here's Mayor McNichol at last night's  meeting.
