09/08/15  Man Dies In Car Crash In Ashley County

A 63 year old Hamburg man died yesterday morning in a one vehicle crash on an Ashley County Road.  According to a State Police report, Lee Terry Jenkins of Hamburg died when his 2003 Ford Mustang failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and struck a tree.  Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene by Ashley County Coroner Steve Hartshorn. The weather conditions were clear, the road dry at the time of the accident at 9am yesterday.  State Trooper John Jenkins investigated the accident.
