09/04/15  Meeting On Old Train Depot In Bearden

A meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, September 8^th at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall in Bearden to discuss the moving of the old train depot from its location out on the highway to a yet to be decided upon location inside the city limits of Bearden.   Bearden city alderwoman Denise Link is spearheading the project and said the cost of moving the depot is 12 thousand dollars.  She said about two thousand has been raised.

Plans are to turn the depot into a combination library-museum.  Anyone interested in the project is encouraged to attend the meeting next Tuesday night at 6pm at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. If you'd like to contriburt to the project you bring your contribution to the city clerk's office..make checks payable to Bearden community project.
