09/02/15  Pine Bluff Murder Investigation

Pine Bluff Police detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for the shooting death on Sunday of 32 year old Darrell Lovett of Pine Bluff.   According to a news release from Sgt. David De Foor, Lovette was shot to death in a vehicle Sunday night. 

His body was found after police received a call of a single car accident, they found a black, Mitsubishi Gallant in the ditch at the intersection of 3^rd and Grant Streets. Deputy Coroner pronounced Lovett dead at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds. His body was sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy.

It's the 2^nd homicide for the month of August. On August 14^th,  police found the bullet riddled body of Berlandrick Bass inside a car on East 5^th and Washington Street. No arrests have been made in either case and no motive established. Anyone with information on either death is asked to call the Pine Bluff Police Detective Division at 730-2090..or 541-5300.
