08/31/15  Mother Charged In 5-Year-Old Son's Death

According to a news release from the McGehee Police Department, a 30 year old McGehee woman is being held on a half million dollar  bond in the death of her 5 year old son. 

 First degree murder charges were filed this past Thursday against Catherine Warren of McGehee. Authorities did not say how the boy died and were not releasing further  information pending an investigation.  The boy's body was sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy. Arkansas State Police investigators are assisting in the investigation. 

Warren is being held at the McGehee city jail.
