08/26/15  Fordyce Police Blotter

According to a Fordyce Police report, between August 17 and 25 police made a total of eight arrests.

On August 23, Fordyce police officer Chad Hubanks filed charges of aggravated assault and discharging a firearm in the city against 56 year old Jerry Wilbon Smith.

On August 24, officer Mark Hopkins filed charges of failure to pay fines against 30 year old Brandon Ware of Hampton.

On August 24, officer Mark Hopkins filed charges of failure to pay fines against 28 year old Natalie Belin of  Fordyce. Hopkins also charged 26 year old Ashley Spears of Fordyce with failure to appear in court.  Those charges were filed August 19^th. And on August 21^st, officer Hopkins arrested 34 year old Adrian Hiley of New Edinburg and charged him with violation of the hot check law and failure to appear in court.
