08/25/15  September Vets Month In Ouachita County

Ouachita County Judge Robbie McAdoo announced at the last Quorum Court meeting that there would be a special salute to veterans all during the month of September...Veterans and Patriot's Awareness and Appreciation Month. Ouachita County Veterans Serivice Officer Jim B. Davis is seeking the names and information of veterans to celebrate this event.  Davis talked about the activities that will take place.

According to County Judge McAdoo, Lt. Governor Tim Griffin and Nicole Hart with Arkansas Veterans will be presented on the 17^th to honor veterans and patriots.  All veterans and their families are invited and encouraged to attend the event. Donations from individuals and businesses are requested with a $25.00 minimum for door prizes to be given away on the 17^th at the Courthouse. Contact Josh Steed to donate at 870-818-9453.
