08/14/15  Wire Theft At Ouachita County Fair Grounds

On August 8,  Lt. James Bolton of the Ouachita County Sheriff's office was dispatched to the Ouachita county fairgrounds on a vandalism report. Fair Board President Missy Chambers reported someone had cut a hole in the perimeter fence to the poultry barn and cut numerous cords and wires and removed them from the barn.  No fans or fixtures were removed, just the wire. Mrs. Chambers was advised the sheriff's office would step up its patrols in the area.
