08/12/15  Bearden Fire Rating Improves To A Five

Good news for property owners in Bearden.  At Monday night's city council meeting, Bearden Fire Chief A-W Evans reported that Bearden's fire rating is now five and he said the city is just a few points from having a fire rating of  four.

Residents and business owners are being encouraged to contact their insurance agents with the good news which will mean a drop in insurance rates. The council also approved the application for grant money for the fire department in the amount of  $10,800.00 which the department can use for the purchase of needed equipment.
