08/10/15  Mayor Coates Says She's Working On Grants For Thornton

Thornton Mayor Libby Coates, on KQ-102.3's South Arkansas Today, on Friday says she's in the process of putting together some applications for grant money for various projects for the city.

Coates said Step-by-Step is an organization in Thornton comprised of people interested in the growth and prosperity of the town.  She invites anyone in Thornton interested in getting involved with the group to attend a meeting that will be held toward the end of the month..

Coates says the Thornton City Council will address clean-up issues at the meeting tonight at the Fire Station.
