Several criminal cases were filed in Dallas County Circuit Court in the past week by Deputy Prosecutor Tom Wynne. On July 24, Wynne filed charges of 2nd degree domestic battery and aggravated battery against 32 year old Sylvester Roger Stewart of Fordyce.  A report in the file indicates that on June 14, Stewart and Morgan Wylie argued over cell phones and Stewart allegedly grabbed Wylie by the throat and slammed her down to the ground and attempted to run over her with a vehicle.

On July 27th, Wynne filed charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and theft of property against 44 year old Lois Darlene Russell of Camden.  According to the charges, on June 12, Russell is alleged to have used a debit card belonging to Arlene Tracy of Fordyce.  Russell allegedly used the card over a period of six months.

On July 30, Prosecutor Wynne filed charges of possession of meth or cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia against 20 year old Jalen Jabard Young of New Edinburg and D'Marcus Jamal Childs of Fordyce.  The manager of Antler's Inn called police on June 7 regarding two men who were arguing outside the motel, neither of which were staying at the motel.  An investigation by Fordyce Police was conducted and a search of the two individuals revealed the drugs and drug paraphernalia.  Both were charged and taken to the Dallas County Detention facility.

On July 27, Wynne filed charges of aggravated assault on a family member and terroristic threatening against 40 year old Anthony Quinn Parham.  Parham's wife told police when she returned home on June 26 at her home at Leisure Oaks, her husband was waiting for her and pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her.  The report didn't indicate why the threat was made.
