08/03/15  Sheridan Man Dies In Head-on Crash Friday

A 56 year old Sheridan man died in a head-on crash on Friday in Grant County. According to a state police report, the crash occurred on U-S Highway 270 East. 

An east-bound truck, driven by 36 year old Leon Trice III of Pine Bluff  passed on a double yellow line and struck a west-bound car driven by Reuben E. Glenn of Sheridan head-on.  Glenn was pronounced dead at the scene by  Deputy Coroner Ed Carey.  Trice was taken to UAMS for treatment of his injuries. 

The weather conditions were clear, the road dry at the time of the crash at 1:40 Friday afternoon, the accident was investigated by State Trooper Marshall Williams.
