07/13/15   Camden Woman Arrested  After Repeated Beer Theft Attempts

On three different dates in May, 23 year old Sarah Joe of Camden attempted to steal 30 packs of beer from Walmart in Camden, each time she was unsuccessful.  She was banned from the Walmart in El Dorado.  On May 6, at the Walmart in Camden, Joe was stopped at her vehicle attempting to steal 151 dollars worth of beer, she tried to heist beer on May 8 and 17 too, each time she failed.  She later told investigators, someone was going to pay her 400 dollars for the beer. Deputy Prosecuting attorney R. Jeffrey Sawyer filed charges of commercial burglary and theft of property against Joe in Circuit Court in Camden July  2. For your information...under law a person commits commercial burglary if he or she enters and remains unlawfully with the purpose of committing any offense, punishable by imprisonment.
