07/13/15  Twelve Arkansas Airports Receive Over 3 Million In Facility Upgrades

Twelve Arkansas airports, including airports at Hope and Lake Village have been awarded more than three million dollars from the Department of transportation to support facility upgrades and expansions. The Federal funding was announced Friday by U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton and Congressmen Rick Crawford and Bruce Westerman. The money will pay for taxiway lighting, drainage system improvements, fencing and runway rehab, among other upgrades.
