07/09/15  Emerald Ash Borer Beetle Found In South Arkansas

The emerald ash borer has been found in a couple more south Arkansas Counties.  On the Bearden Brunch Bunch heard on KQ-102.3 yesterday, Ouachita County Extension agent Keri Welch talked about it.

So far the emerald ash borer hasn't been discovered in any Northern Arkansas counties.  For more information on the emerald ash borer and the quarantine that's in effect, you can contact the state plant board, or your nearest extension service office.
