07/08/15   No More Storm Shelter Rebates

The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management will not be accepting any new storm shelter rebate applications for state fiscal year 2016..which runs from July 1, 2015 thru June 30^th, 2016.  Applications received in the last state fiscal year were enough to deplete all funding for this state fiscal year. 

The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management will begin processing rebates for the current backlog of all approved applications on file starting this month.  It's expected that this program will wind down and not continue in future years.  More information regarding the storm shelter rebate program will be available as it develops.  For information, call 501-683-6700.
