07/06/15   Several Area Residents Appointed by Governor Hutchinson

Over the weekend a number of appointments to various boards and  commissions were announced by Governor Asa Hutchinson. Daniel Heflin of Rison was appointed to the Criminal Detention Facility Review committee, Judicial District 13.  His appointment expires  January 14, 2019.

Matthew Soto of White Hall was appointed to  Criminal Detention  Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 11-West.  He replaces William Webb.  Soto's appointment expires Jan 14, 2019.

Dr. Robert Smalling of Warren was re-appointed to the State Board of Optometry.  His appointment expires April 26^th, 2020.

Judge David Talley of Magnolia was appointed to the Arkansas Public Defender Commission.  He replaces Larry Chandler.  Talley's appointments expires July 1, 2016.
