07/03/15   Ouachita County Sheriff's Office Investigates boat Theft

On Sunday, June 28, Thomas Word of Bearden reported to the Ouachita County Sheriff's department the theft of a boat from a pond on property that he owns.  Word told Ouachita County Sheriff's investigator Lt. Cedric Gregory that he owns 57 acres of land off Highway 79-north in the Millville area. He said there's a pond on the property and when he went to the pond  Sunday his green, flat bottom aluminum boat was gone.  Word estimated the value of the boat at 12 hundred dollars.
