Illa B. Hope of Fordyce died Friday at St. John's Place in Fordyce. Mrs. Hope was a life long educator and taught science and home-ec at Fordyce Middle and High Schools for 26 years, beginning in 1956. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 9^th at 2pm at First United Methodist Church of Fordyce.  A private burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery.  Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
