Marion Stanley “Monkey” Thornton of Fordyce died Sunday at his home at the age of 79. Visitation will be this evening from 6-8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.  Services are scheduled for 2pm tomorrow  at Benton Funeral Home with Rev Jeremy Horton, Rev Nathan Perry and Bobby Thornton officiating.  Burial at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CARTI Foundation of Little Rock. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
