06/17/15  Arkadelphia Woman Dies In Head-on Crash in Cleveland County

A 37 year old Arkadelphia woman died in head-on crash in Cleveland County on Monday evening.  According to a State Police report, a 200 Saturn Vue, driven by Bridgette Monique Bass of Arkadelphia was headed south on on U-S highway 63-north..crossed the center line, striking a 2007 Dodge truck driven by 74 year old Kathryn L. Johnson of Eldorado, who was headed north bound on 63.  It was a head-on collision.  Bass was pronounced dead at the scene by Cleveland County Coroner Joe Rauls. Mrs. Johnson was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff for treatment.  Weather conditions were clear, road conditions dry at the time of the crash Monday evening at 6:50pm. The accident was investigated by State Trooper Greg Rowland.
