06/12/15  29th Annual Gazebo Festival  this Friday and Saturday in Bearden.

 

The 29th Annual Gazebo Festival will be held this Friday and Saturday in Bearden. At 6pm at the Bearden School auditorium, Bearden's Got Talent talent contest will be held.  This is the first year for the talent contest, with three divisions..5-12 years of age, 13-17 year olds and 18 years and up.  First and second place winners will be named in each division with one overall winner and one overall people's choice. 

On Friday the parade will be held at 5:30pm, with line up at 5 at the Bearden High School.  At 6pm the trophy presentation for the Bearden Ball League teams.  At 6:30 till 7:30..telematic.  The street dance begins at 7:45 featuring the music of No Excuses.

On Saturday morning the car show begins at 9am with registration between 9-10am.  Entry fee is 15 dollars.  Contact Cleo Beard for more info at 870-687-1451.  The 3rd Annual Rib Cook-off will begin at 8:30am till 2pm.  The 4th Annual Baggo Tournament will be held. It's a double elimination tournament.  Contact Melissa Faucett on that as well 870-833-1843.

A full day of entertainment is scheduled on the Gazebo stage downtown beginning at 11am. The winner of the new Bearden City Flag will be announced by Mayor Russell Davis at 4:30 Saturday afternoon.  The Zac Dunlap Band will headline the entertainment at 7:30 Saturday night raffle winners will be announced at 9:35.  The fireworks display begins at 9:45.
