06/09/15  State Representative Wardlaw on Possible Multi-Million Dollar Contract

8^th District State Representative Jeff Wardlaw of Warren..a guest on a recent KQ-102.3 South  Arkansa Sunrise broadcast talked about the economic impact for South Arkansas if Lockheed Martin lands a multi-million dollar contract to build a military vehicle that would replace the Humvee.

Wardlaw said some legislators were asking why the state should put up 87 million dollars in bond money for a company as large as Lockheed Martin.

Wardlaw said another stipulation in the contract is that suppliers for the project must be located within 50 miles of the plant.
