06/04/15  9^th Annual Casey Crowder Softball Tournament to Promote Team Safety Happens Saturday

The 9^th annual Casey Crowder softball tournament to promote team safety will be held this Saturday at Morris-Ryburn field off Ryburn Road in Pine Bluff.  According to Lauri Crowder someone will win a scholarship  at the end of play on Saturday.  The scholarship fund is in memory of Casey Crowder who was murdered some time back. A memorial will be held Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Crowder said several girls teams in two age divisions are ready to play ball.  One division is the 8 thru 12 year olds, and the older girls 13 thru 18. The tournament kicks off Saturday morning at 8am and winds up on Sunday.  For more information call Laurie Crowder at 692-4280.
