06/04/15  1^st Annual Thin Blue Line Battle of Ouachita County

The Camden Police Department and Ouachita County Sheriff's department will be hosting the 1^st annual Thin Blue Line Battle of Ouachita County June 27^th at Carnes Park in Camden.  This year the proceeds will be donated to the families of officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate who were killed while performing a traffic stop on May 9, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Camden P-D and Ouachita County Sheriff's Department will be hosting a softball tournament for law enforcement departments around the area.  Any department that would like to participate or help in any way is asked to contact Justin Starnes at 870-231-5300 or Barbara Quarles at  870-818-9140. Admission will be two dollars for adults and one dollar for children 5 and up.  T-shirts will also be sold and there will be concessions.
