06/03/15  Dallas County Circuit Court

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tom Wynne, in circuit court in Dallas County, on May 28,  filed charges of escape against 23 year old Mark Stephen McMillan of Fordyce.  McMillan was on work release to Sonic Drive-in on April 29, from the Dallas County Detention Center, and ran away from the job site.  He was located and arrested the following day. Wynne is seeking to have McMillan tried under the habitual criminal statute since he has more felonies on his record...that allows the judge to give him additional jail time.

Wynne also filed charges against 23 year old Sean Anthony Alsobrook and Alley Alsobrook of Sparkman.  Sean was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor child and carrying a weapon, Alley was charged with the same charges except carrying a weapon.  The charges stem form a traffic stop made by Dallas County Deputy Ryan Coleman on February 27th.  Following the stop Alsobrook's vehicle was searched and several needles, a spoon, tourniquet, baggies and handgun were found. The Alsobrook's were offered to work undercover for law enforcement and agreed and were provided a cell phone and released.  A few days later they fled the county and were found at Sean's dad's place, both ran into the woods.  Alley gave herself up, Sean was tracked down by a dog. He had charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest added to his list of charges.
