05/18/15   John Casey Ragon of Camden Charged In Ouachita County Circuit Court

 

on several felony charges. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Phillip A. Stone filed the charges May 8 against 25 year old John Casey Ragon of Camden.  Ragon is charged with criminal impersonation, criminal trespass on Union Pacific property, criminal mischief and theft of property. According to a report filed in court, the investigation was conducted by Special Agent Rick Cross of North Little Rock, acting on behalf of Union Pacific Railroad. 

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in October of last year in the Stephens area. Ragon is charged with impersonating the manager of Union Pacific Railroad and damaging railroad equipment. According to damage estimates listed in the report, Ragan is charged with making Union Pacific signal maintenance call outs. Total time, 10 hours at 200 dollars an hour for a total of two thousand dollars.  He's also charged with delaying a train, costing U-P 450 dollars, plus other damage to equipment.
