05/18/15  Johnson Charged On Several Counts

Charges were filed in Jefferson County Circuit Court in Pine Bluff on April 30 on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, terroristic threatening and aggravated assault on a family member. The charges are the result of an incident that occurred March 18^th. When Pine Bluff Police responded to a domestic disturbance call.  The victim stated that her boyfriend, Cleveland Johnson, had pointed a handgun at her and threatened to kill her.  The victim stated Johnson was acting crazy and appeared to be high on something. Police later located Johnson stuck in a pot hole on So Indiana street.  He was arrested and taken to the Dub Brazell Detention Center.  When police search Johnson's vehicle they found a 9mm handgun with ammunition. Johnson has prior felony convictions and is on parole.
