05/13/15  Ouachita County Circuit Court Charges

 

A 28 year old Camden man has been charged in circuit court in Camden with possession of drug paraphernalia.  The charges against Steven Lance Olvey were filed by Camden police after Olvey was asked for his Identification while parked on  lot of a Camden business on April 5th.  When a routine check on Olvey was run, the investigating officers were told there was a warrant for Olvey's arrest out of Dallas County.  When officers searched Olvey's vehicle they found a blue glass pipe, Olvey confirmed it was a meth pipe.  Deputy prosecutor for the 13th Judicial Dist, Phillip A Stone, filed the charges in court. Deputy prosecutor R. Jeffrey Sawyer filed charges in circuit court in Camden against 25 year old Kyle Lee King of Camden on forgery charges, use of a cell phone to obtain a forged prescription and possession of a controlled substance, .Xanax.  King attempted to transfer his cousins prescription from a Walgreens in Louisiana to Walgreens in Camden.
