Two counts of the discharge of a firearm from a car in the second degree and three counts of aggravated assault have been filed by
S. Kyle Hunter, prosecuting attorney for Jefferson County, against 26 year-old Anthony Alexander and co-defendant Deandra Davis. The charges were filed as the result of a shooting incident that occurred on April 10th.  Pine Bluff police responded to a call in reference to an armed disturbance.  They spoke with Amber Charles, Mario Mallet and D'quanta Vaughn who said they were at a gas station at Miramar and Blake when a silver Kia drove by and started shooting at them.  They said the vehicle was occupied by Shaneika Suggs, her boyfriend and another black male.

Suggs, in an interview, told detectives she and Charles had some words earlier in the day.  She said as they drove by they were all looking at them mean so her brother, Anthony Alexander and her boyfriend Deandre Davis started shooting at them. There's no mention of any injury in the police report.
