05/07/15  Lindsey Charged in Burglary

 

Circuit Court in Pine bluff.  Tommy Lindsey was charge in the crime back in October of last year. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Detective Michael Merritt, officers responded to a burglary on South Bay Street and spoke with the home owner who told police that when he left his home late on October 30 and came home around 7am..he noticed his front door was open. 

Upon surveying the home the owner found a t-v and video game system missing.  While processing the crime scene, blood was found on the outer screen door handle. Samples were taken and sent to the state crime lab.  The D-N-A profile obtained from the evidence came back to Tommy Z. Lindsey, incarcerated at the time at the Dub Brassell detention center.  At the time Lindsey denied any knowledge of a burglary. He was booked for residential burglary and on May 5 was appointed a public defender.
