05/04/15  Three Fatal Crashes Saturday. 

 

State police investigated three fatal crashes Saturday. In Cleburne County, 3 miles southwest of Heber Springs on state highway 25. 57 year old Shelby Neal of Pangburn was killed when the 2006 Harlely Davidson that he was riding failed to negotiate a curve.  The bike went off the right side of the road went 100 feet before striking an embankment, going airborne for another 100 feet.  Neal was taken to Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs where he died of his injuries. The weather was clear, the road dry at the time of the crash at 2:05pm Saturday afternoon.

Also Saturday afternoon in Pulaski County, a Little Rock man, 38 year old Christopher Don Tee, driving a 2004 Ford Mustang, north bound on state highway 367, attempted to pass a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by Stuart McAllister, 25, of Little Rock before it was safe to do so, and collided head-on into a 2007  Nissan Altima driven by 60 year old Alicia Garcia of Little Rock. Upon impact, Tee's vehicle ricocheted off Garcia's vehicle and sideswiped McAlister's car.  Tee's vehicle then went off 367 and burst into flames. Tee was trapped inside and couldn't be removed.  Tee died at the scene.

Saturday evening around 6pm, a Salina, Kansas man died in a three vehicle mishap on State highway 63, four miles south of Hardy. According to a state police preliminary report, 31 year old Jason Manning died when his 2007 Harley Davidson crossed the center line and overturned into the path of two other vehicles.The other two drivers, 47 year old Jeffrey Allison of Maumelle and Jimmy Prince Jr. of Success, Arkansas were not injured.
