Two Fordyce men have been charged with multiple felonies as the result of a drug bust on April 10th at the antlers inn motel, located  On the 79-167 bypass in Fordyce. According to a report filed by Dallas County Deputy Ronnie Smith. Deputies acted on a tip that 33-year-old Kevin "Big Country" Brown and 34-year-old Jeremiah "Ju Man" Smith were selling meth from a room at the motel. The two were arrested after officers observed a lot of traffic going to and from the room that the two men occupied.

Upon approaching the room the strong odor or marijuana and other chemicals could be detected.  Officers announced their presence and the two suspects attempted to flush some of the evidence. Brown and Smith were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence in an attempt to avoid prosecution and distribution near certain facilities.  The incident is still under investigation.
