Randy Floriani, CED for the Dallas-Cleveland County Farm Service Agency,
reminds farmers that July 15 is the deadline to make timely Acreage reports
of acres grazed for supporting documentation for the livestock forage
program if a drought condition occurs this Summer. Timely filing can prevent
a late filing fee that you'll have to pay that can be costly. Floriani
explained that an acreage report is simply a review of your farm records,
satellite Imagery and whether the acreage is grazed or hayed this crop year.
