A Bearden man has been charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia to ingest or inhale and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. According to information filed in Circuit Court in Camden by Deputy Prosecutor Phillip A. Stone, Kenneth Wayne Humphrey was charged following an incident that occurred at Dollar General in Camden on February 20.

Police were called on a shoplifting incident and upon investigation, they encountered Kayla Diane Grantham who had the smell of marijuana on her and her purse. She was a passenger in a truck driven by Humphrey.  The Police report stated that Humphrey's drivers license was suspended and he had fictitious license plates.

When police searched Humphrey's truck they found a small scale, two drug pipes with a white substance believed to be meth, a small bag of plastic bags, and q-tips to clean the pipe with. During a police interview, Humphrey admitted the articles were his.
