03/24/15 Thorton Hogskin Holidays BBQ Dinner

Just a week from this Saturday, Thornton will kick-off the Calhoun County Hogskin Holidays Festival with a barbeque dinner on Saturday, April 4, from 4:00pm through 6:30pm, at the Thornton Fire Station. Live music will be provided by the White Mustang Band, Jimmy Martin and the Spiritualaires, and Brother Andy Hughes. Valuable door prizes will be awarded.

Adult tickets are eight dollars in advance, and nine dollars at the door. Tickets for children under 12 years of age are four dollars each. The kick-off is sponsored each year by Step-By-Step, an organization that focuses on community improvement in Thornton.
