03/18/15 Corner Store Liquor License

The Corner Store in Bearden has applied for a license to sell beer and wine. The application was recently discussed at a Bearden City Council Meeting and the Mayor along with two city pastors decided to attend a hearing before the Arkansas Liquor License Board to object to the issuance of the license. 

On the Bearden Brunch Bunch, Mayor Davis told us the outcome of that hearing.

It will be one year before the Corner Store can file for a license again if the court doesn't rule in his favor on an appeal.
