03/13/15 Relay for Life

The first annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner, sponsored by Relay for Life, will be tonight, March 13, at 6:00pm at the Civic Center. The event chairman, Sarah Miller, told T-T-O that the event will be catered by Dorey's. The event is sold out, with 18 tables at 240 dollars per table.

Miller said there will be 18 celebrity waiters, along with a live and a silent auction with lots of neat things to be sold. There will be other activities and entertainment, as well. Everything is for sale at the event, including dessert, prepared by the different Relay for Life team members. 

The Dallas County Relay for Life is April 17th at the Dallas County Courthouse grounds.
