03/12/15 Church Theft in Ouachita County

Someone stole a portion of a chain link fence from behind a church in Ouachita County. The report was filed by Jerry Jeffus after he discovered the theft at Bethesda Church located at 395 Ouachita 47. Jeffus told Deputy Sheriff Adam Laduke that he had stopped at the church to check on his mother's grave. Upon walking behind the church, he discovered someone had stolen about one hundred feet of chain link fence.

The thieves took the section of fence right behind the church that was not visible from the road. There were tracks behind the church that appeared to have been made by a smaller wheel based truck.
